From Paris CDG, 11 hours flight to Mauritius by Air France and Air Mauritius. Emirates Airlines offers the one-stop shopping destination in Dubai (15 hours). Corsair now offers flights from Paris Orly and Lyon St Exupery.
We suggest you to do the night flying with departures around 8.00 P.M., it goes faster especially if you have kids.

Weight of baggage allowance on Air Mauritius / Air France:
44 lbs in economy class
66 lbs in business class.
A label indicating legibly the name, permanent address and destination must be affixed to the outside of each checked bag. Please include your phone number.
Cabin luggage
You are entitled to only one cabin baggage weighing not more than 15.4 lbs. The addition of the width, length and height must not exceed 45.3 in.
In addition, are allowed a reasonable number of duty-free purchases, personal items and a laptop.

Passport & visa
Anyone making a trip to Mauritius must hold a passport valid for six months after the return date and have a return ticket. Nationals of the European Union do not need a visa.

Vaccines & Health
No vaccinations are required for travelers coming from Europe. There is no malaria risk in Mauritius or Rodrigues.
Pharmacies are very numerous, they are generally open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 A.M to 6.00 P.M or 7.00 P.M.
Avoid drinking tap water.
The doctors are not as well equipped as in Europe, but for large seed, we quickly join The Reunion Island and its excellent hospitals.
